Where we started
Fourteen years of the same eight systems
Zem Chemicals opened in Gulshan-e-Iqbal in 2011 doing one thing — roof waterproofing for Karachi's RCC rooftops. The work grew from real jobs, not a product launch: roof heat proofing once clients started asking the same crew to bring slab temperatures down too, then water tank and bathroom leakage repair once the same water-based chemistry proved itself on tanks and wet areas. G.I. sheet and asbestos sheet roofs, and basement and foundation work followed the same way — a real job came in, the chemistry adapted, and it stayed on as a standing service.
Heat-proofing clients see the same reflective coating drop their roof surface temperature by 6–8°C, measured on real jobs, not a lab figure. See the job sheets — area, scope and handover date recorded exactly as they happened, from a 68,000 sq.ft industrial site in Turbat to a single bathroom in Bahria Town. Outside Karachi, the same coating is available by the pail with a full application guide — see waterproofing chemicals.
